Tiger Woods tweeted today, “Congrats to my niece Cheyenne on winning her first professional event, won by 4, very proud”. This after Cheyenne closed with a 1-under par 69 on Thursday to win the Suncoast Ladies Series event held at LPGA International.
Cheyenne finished the 54 hole even on the Champions course at 6 under. She finished four stokes ahead of runner-up Taylore Karle. Cheyenne had rounds of 67-68 and 69.
Woods was also runner-up at a Suncoast Series event last week on the Legends Course at LPGA International. She made her professional debut earlier this summer at the Wegmans LPGA Championship after graduating from Wake Forest.
