WunderBrush Scrub Hub Review

Any golfer knows that a club that has it’s grooves filled with dirt and grass can hurt the performance of your game.  So what do we do?  We grab our golf towel, a golf tee or whatever object we can find nearby in attempt to free our club from the grime so we can make that Rory McIlroy shot tee high onto the green.  It may not always work out that way, but that is the ultimate goal.  So if someone said they had invented something that would clean your club while you walked to the next shot, I’m sure you would jump at the chance to get one.

Well, Joeseph Bardzilowski has done just that.  The WunderBrush easily attaches to the wheel of your push cart, spins and cleans your clubs while you walk.  That way you don’t have to waist your energy, time and muscles cleaning those dirty clubs of yours.  Wunder Brush can even clean your shoes for you if there is no other place to scrape off that mud and dirt.

Wunder Brush sent us over a sample to put to the test.  When the package first arrived in the mail, my first thought was this is no gimmick invention.  Everything from the construction to the bristles was top quality and you could tell there had been a lot of time and effort put into the product.  The Wunder Brush had nice clean look to it and had a clean Wunder Brush logo printed onto it.

How to install: There is a set of instructions that come with the brush when you receive it and those instructions are very easy to follow, heck, I could follow them.  There were also diagrams for the visual person.  What you do is attach the base using a flat-head screwdriver to attach the brackets to the wheel.  While doing so you need to make sure the device stays centered.  Once that is done, you attach the brush screws into the base.  The installation was simple and not time consuming at all.

Use: Looking at the brush I thought there would be some issues with the actual cleaning of my clubs.  I wasn’t sure if I could create enough leverage while walking next to the cart and cleaning my club, but I was pleasantly surprised.  I generally get to the course early to avoid slow play, so the grass is very damp most of my rounds.  After nearly every shot I have wet grass and dirt in the grooves of my clubs.  The Wunder Brush actually did a very nice job of loosening all the debris.  I could then easily wipe it away with my towel.  Let’s be realistic here, no brush will completely wipe all the debris off your club, but if you can loosen it free from the grooves, then one simple wipe of a towel will do the rest.

The one issue that seemed to cause a little bit of a problem was how far out the brush protruded from the cart.  I understand it takes time to get used to a new product and I would eventually realize there was a bristled brush on the side of my cart (I learn slow), but it still did seem to protrude a bit far.

The one thing that I absolutely loved about the Wunder Brush Scrub Hub was how I could pretty much clean my cleats at any point during my round.  I didn’t have to stomp my feet off on a cart path or search for a cleat cleaner anywhere.  I had it right there with me and that was nice.

Opinions: The Wunder Brush Scrub Hub is a pretty well thought out product that all you gadget and gizmo fans will enjoy.  It will save you some energy out on the course and even save you a little time.  When I review items such as this, I like to keep in touch with the owner and give him my direct feedback.  I spoke to  Joe about the issue of the brush sticking out to far and to my surprise he was already working on the issue.  His team is putting together a new brush that is about an inch shorter.  If the Wunder Brush crew can make that happen, then all in all this is a very nice product that will last and work.  It looks like you all have another great product on the market to get your hands on.

Keep it on the short grass!
