Golf News: James Driscoll Continues to Help his Home Town of Boston Recover
By Ron Mintz
Having grown up just three blocks from the Boston Marathon tragedy, James Driscoll’s heart has been in Boston even though he has been playing on the PGA TOUR.
Driscoll pledged to contribute $1,000 for each birdie he made last week at the RBC Heritage and this week at the Zurich Classic.
Last week, Driscoll made nine birdies for $9,000 to go to the “One Fund Boston”.
Today in the first round of the Zurich Classic he had six birdies in his round of 68.
With three rounds to go, he has already contributed $15,000 to the One Fund Boston.
Regardless of his finish this week, James Driscoll is the real winner!
