REVIEW: Titleist 913 F Fairway Wood Review | Quick Look
Since 2010, Titleist has been pretty much at the top of the game with their 910 series of woods. There a some die hard Titleist fans out there that were excited to see the newest from Titleist with the 913 fairway woods and hybrids and I don’t think they were disappointed. The following quote comes from Steve Pelisek who is the General Manager of Titlest Golf Club.
“Golfers are always looking for more distance and control in their long game, but they also need versatility,” said Steve Pelisek, General Manager, Titleist Golf Clubs. “The 913 fairways and hybrids not only deliver better performance, they provide serious golfers with more options to dial-in their set composition to fit their long game strategy and the way they play the game.”
This is pretty much what you hear from all major golf companies when it comes to woods, but who is actually pulling it off is the question? So let’s take a quick look at the Titleist 913 fairway woods to see if they made magic happen or not.
Look/Feel/Performance:
The 913 fairway woods from Titleist has the classic black finish to them like all the other Titleist creations. As you can see from the photo above, it has some nice but quiet highlights on the bottom of the club and the Titleist logo on the toe of the club. Nothing fancy here folks, just a clean solid looking golf club. It has an adjustable hosel, which allows for 16 settings to alter loft and lie angles. Most companies have done a good job with the adjustability options look on their clubs and so has Titleist. It doesn’t stand out or cause any issues when looking down at the club.
Titleist has slimmed down the 913 from last years model, which I think is a great look. Some people might not like thinning down a club because they see a smaller head when looking down. It seems these days everyone wants a monster truck at the end of their shaft. But don’t be fooled by the thinner and smaller head, this club is as forgiving as any other fairway wood on the market. The crown was made thiner so weight could be moved to get the CG low in hopes for more power and control.
The Titleist 913 Fairway Woods are at the top of the class for 2013 not only because of it’s sleek black finish and sexy looks, but because it performs like a champ. With all the adjustability one could want, you won’t have an excuse for that giant slice into Mr. Willards back yard at your local course. That ball hitting his window will be because you actually hit a bad shot. No more blaming the golf club with this one guys.
Titleist claims more distance with the new class of woods, but let’s be honest, doesn’t every company promise that? I am always skeptical when I read that. I’m not going to tell you that this club will give you 15 yards more with hits, but it does have a good pop to it and will get you down the fairways quite nicely.

The Titleist 913 fariway woods really is meant for all golfers looking to improve their game. They do have a 913 F.d model that is recommended for lower handicap players, but I have to say that the 913 F should fit almost everyones game just fine.
