Los Cabos, Mexico
On the southern tip of western Mexico, is the scenic city area of Los Cabos. The fantastic golf can help you temporarily escape one of the most tourist infested cities in Mexico. The Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol is one of our favorites. The deep sea fishing, snorkeling and beaches in Los Cabos are all fantastic, as well. There are plenty of activities for the whole family to get involved with.
Hilton Head, South Carolina
One of the most underappreciated golf sites in the U.S. and maybe even the world, Hilton Head will certainly give you the golf and vacation experience that you’re looking for. There are some awesome things to do and see on this island off the coast of South Carolina, but the golfing is top notch. Palmetto Dunes Plantation is up there with the best of them. If you visit Hilton Head, you’re a short 45 minute drive from historic Savannah, Georgia, as well.
San Diego, California
San Diego, California can be described in one simple word: Paradise. With great year round weather, palm trees and some amazing beaches (Mission Beach being one of the all-time best), San Diego has a lot of great activities to offer — other than seeing Shamu. The array of San Diego golf courses are also some of the best in the nation. Torrey Pines has hosted many PGA events, and gives you great views of the Pacific.
Las Vegas, Nevada
In the Nevada desert lie the bright lights, hotels and casinos of sunny Las Vegas. Not only is Sin City home to some of the greatest parties, shopping and accommodations in the whole world, but it’s also home to some excellent golfing. The sandstone bunkers of the Wolf Creek at Paradise Canyon golf course are tricky, but they are also unique and fun to try out. Keep the family at the hotel pool, and try out the Las Vegas golf scene.
