My name is Emma Robinson, one of the newest members of the Bunker’s Paradise team. My job is testing and writing reviews on the latest women’s golf equipment. Golf is a great passion of mine and I am so excited to exchange thoughts and ideas with you on some of the best golf equipment out there!
Golf has always been a driving force in my life. Growing up with a golf course in my backyard and the best teacher I could ask for, my dad, the sport has enriched my life in so many ways. Without my dad’s persistence on my game, I would never have gotten where I am today.
I started playing competitively at the age of 11 and went on to play varsity golf for my high school. I then received a scholarship to play golf for Western Kentucky University, a Division 1 college. Those four years at WKU help me grow as a person as well as a golfer. I made life long friends around the state, competing with some of the best out there.
This game has taught me how to be honest, even if I didn’t want to be. So many aspects of golf translate into real life. Teaching young kids how to play golf is my ultimate goal and I hope to be in a position to do that one day.
Golf has enriched my life in so many ways. From it, I have been given amazing friends and mentors, an education, and even a hopeful career in the sport with my Bachelors degree in Sport Management. Golf is unlike any other sport, in which you are able to network and meet with all walks of life with the same hunger for the sport.
