Taylormade Rocketballz Stage 2 Fairway Wood Review | Quick Look
Remember seeing that Nike commercial this past summer, where the golfers all say “Sorry!” for their VR Driver promotion? Well, forget apologizing because after you hit Taylormade’s Rocketballz Stage 2 wood, all you be saying is “We have lift off!”
Taylormade brings us their RBZ Stage 2 fairway wood. And while many are completely satisfied with the original RBZ fairway wood, nobody could believe what stage 2 could do.
A new carpenter steel face and a low and front CG installation produces a stronger and higher launches off the tee and fairway resulting in great maximum distance. Golfers are averaging 10-20 yards of extra distance.
The weight of the golf club itself is fairly light which might scare first time users about the possibly over-swinging, but with the new and improved speed pocket, golfers will find themselves swinging with ease rather than insecurity.
The only flaw of the club is the decal on top of the head. Even though the club is white, it is a glare resistant coating, however, the decal itself can be bit distracting and golfer might lose focus and they try to line up their ball correctly before the swing.
Either way, this is a very enjoyable and comfortable club to hit. At impact, as the ball takes off, your smile will grow wider.

All levels, but for the current price of the club, beginner and intermediate players should consider look into having these woods in their bag at all times.
