The PGA Tour returns to Louisiana this week as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans will get underway on Thursday at the TPC of Louisiana in Avondale. This year’s field features 16 former major winners plus many other stars from the tour.
Justin Rose, Keegan Bradley, Patrick Reed, Rickie Fowler, Ernie Els, and defending champion Billy Horschel are scheduled to tee it up this week. Veterans in the field this week include, Lucas Glover, 2001 champion David Toms, Vijay Singh, Padraig Harrington, and Fred Funk.
The Zurich Classic is the last chance for players to earn a berth into THE PLAYERS Championship by moving into the top 10 in the FedEx Cup standings or top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
