Where are we?
Howdy Folks! We are live in Irving, Texas for the HP Byron Nelson Championship or the “Nelson” at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas. Players will be teeing off at the infamous TPC Four Seasons At Las Colinas Golf Course. It is considered one of the ten toughest courses in the PGA Tour Schedule, ranking 5th in difficulty.
What should we know?
This year begins the five remaining years that are left for the TPC Four Seasons to host the this classic. In 2019, the championship will be held at Trinity Forest Golf Course in Dallas. This year’s champion will walk away with 500 Fed Ex Cup Points and $1.24 million.
Who will we know?
PGA Tour favorites, such as Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Jimmy Walker and hometown favorite, Jordan Spieth.

Tournament outlook:
This should be a very exciting tournament. Jason Day return to action after being sidelined with a thumb injury. Hometown Hero, Jordan Spieth is looking to rebound from his collapse the the Players Championship. There is also a lot of buzz for Keegan Bradley who won this tournament in 2011 whose craving for his first tour win of the season. This is a very strong field which should make for a very interesting next couple of days.
And the Winner is….
The return of Jason Day has me wanting to choose him, but I definitely feel that Jordan Spieth will come away from here as the victor. He’s fallen short too many times this season, but a win infront of the hometown crowd could easily set the pace for the rest of the tour schedule for the 2013 Rookie of Year.
