This was the BEST tournament of the year. What a finish to an amazing day at the PGA Championship at Valhalla. Rory Mcllroy rallied from behind but he hit some outstanding shots to walk away with the victory. Mcllroy shot a final round three under par 68 and finished at sixteen under par.

Mcllroy finishes off a brilliant summer with wins in the final two majors. With his long drives and hot putter Rory is going to be tough to beat on any given day.
The fans choice for the day put on a show for all. “Lefty” Phil Mickelson put on a charge from the first hole, and was in contention all day on Sunday. Mickelson had another dazzling round of five under par, 66 to finish one stroke back of winner at fifteen under par. Mickelson thrilled the fans with his famous chips and long putts, but came up just short of winning his sixth major tournament.
Rickie Flower led most of the day only to fade down the stretch and ended up tied for third at fourteen under par with Henrik Stenson. Jim Furyk and Ryan Palmer finished at twelve under par tied for fifth.
If you are a golf fan, today was a great day. I was glued to the TV all day Sunday to watch the world’s best golfers go head to head on a very tough golf course. What more can you ask out of a major championship but some of the best golf of the year? This PGA Championship will go down as the one of the best tournament in years. Now you can say the passing of the guard has been completed. I just want to thank Bunkers Paradise for letting me cover and write about this event. I was on the edge of my seat all day.
Thank you and BIG Congrats to Rory Mcllroy!!!!
