As President of the United States, there’s not much you can’t do. Well, I mean there are, but things like playing 256 rounds of golf and crashing weddings, those you can definitely pull off.
Speaking of those two things, President Barack Obama accomplished both of those things on Monday in San Diego at Torrey Pines.
According to Golf Digest, the President played the site of the 2008 U.S. Open on Monday — the 256th round of his presidency — and after putting out on 18, released that he was kind of interrupting a wedding.
The couple — Stephanie and Brian Youngren — were tying the knot that day at the La Jolla Lodge while Obama was enjoying his round. The bride noted that while the President was finishing his round, she and her new hubby were stuck inside.

Once he finished, they headed downstairs in hopes of meeting the president — which they and a number of the guests were able to do, getting pictures and little bits of wisdom from the Commander in Chief.
“And he saw my foot on the train of the wedding dress and he says ‘oops can’t put your foot on the wedding dress there.’ Little piece of advice, pretty funny,” the groom told KGTV.
Seriously, it doesn’t really matter where you fall on the political fall line, it’s pretty damn-cool to have a sitting President show up at your wedding, take pictures, dole out some advice and share a laugh.
