Tiger is scheduled to make his 2018 debut at the Farmers Insurance Open on Thursday.
After a successful weekend in the Bahamas last December, Tiger is looking to carry the momentum to La Jolla. Torrey Pines might as well be the best place for him to make his return. His 9 victories include 7 at the Farmers, the 2008 U.S. Open and the Junior World as a teenager. It will be almost 10 years since he last won a major title.
What would be considered a successful tournament for Tiger? Many are hoping he will return to his 4 major title form in a calendar year. Some just want him to stay healthy and make the cut. I’m hoping to see Tiger in his Sunday reds on the 18th hole with a chance to celebrate like it’s 2008.
