Tiger Taking A Ride At Honda
Tiger Woods made his return to Florida at the Honda Classic and shoots an even-par 70. He teed off early this morning and had to face some windy conditions.
He started his round on the back 9 on PGA National. Woods made birdie on 11 and 13, but dropped a shot on 16. He finished his front 9 with a 1-under 34.
The par 5 3rd hole was his one big hiccup. He had a short 3rd shot to the green but pulled it left in the bunker. He left his shot out of the bunker short into the fringe. His next chip was short again and then finished with a 2 putt for double bogey. Woods bounced back with a birdie on 4 and ended his round with a solid 5 pars.
Woods hit 7 out of 14 fairways and made 10 out of 18 greens in regulation. He has a total of 27 putts on the round. Tiger went on to say “It felt solid today.” He will look to improve on his round on Friday.
