Justin Thomas picked up the win Sunday afternoon at Firestone Country Club for the WBC-Bridgestone Invitational. He started off the day with a 3-stroke lead and cruised to a 4-shot victory.
He finished Sunday with a 1-under 69 and a 15-under total for the tournament. This is his 3rd win on the season and is trending up going into his title defense next week at the PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club.
The highlight of the weekend must have been when Thomas embraced both of his grandparents after the win. This is the first time they have seen him win in person since he won on the Web.com Tour. Look for Thomas to ride the wave next week into the 4th and final major of the year.
