Brandt Snedeker Goes Wire-To-Wire To Win At Wyndham

Brandt Snedeker stated off the Wyndhnam Championship in style with an 11-under 59 on Thursday. He was able to hold the lead all four days to pick up his 9th PGA Tour victory of his career.

Snedeker was able to go wire-to-wire at Sedgefield Country Club this weekend, but it was not as easy as it looked. Cheng Tsung Pan was tied for the lead with Snedeker going into the his 18th hole of the championship. He choked up on his driver, but still blocked his tee shot off to the right and out of bounds, allowing Snedeker to breeze through final couple of holes on Sunday.

Webb Simpson also had a chance pick up the win near his hometown on Sunday, but fell a few shots short. He missed a couple of makable putts on the back nine that costed him a chance to win.

Brandt was able to fight some swing issues on Sunday. He was pulling a couple of his shots off to the left with his irons. He had to lean on his great short game to keep him on top of the leaderboard. Snedeker will use this win as momentum going into the FedEx Cup Playoffs next week.
