Man Killed in Golf Cart Crash at Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Sacramento

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Texas man was killed after driving at unsafe speeds that led to him being ejected from the vehicle.

The call came at around 4:30p from the Apple Mountain Golf Resort and the accident occurred on the fairway of the 10th hole, where a 44 year old man from Texas was driving at high speeds downhill. The man lost control and crashed into the railings near a bridge, where he was ejected and suffered fatal injuries.

The 31 year old passenger from Sacramento suffered some minor injuries. It was not determined if alcohol was involved by the time of this report.
