NFL Power Rankings: Ranking All 32 NFL Teams Entering Week 15

32. New York Giants (2-11)

Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images

New York is currently fighting for the No. 1 pick in next year’s draft. The Giants began the year 2-3 and notched two tough road wins — at Cleveland and at Seattle — before crashing out. Losers of eight in a row, the Giants have been held to under 20 points nine times this year and have scored 22+ points just two times. The team has four tough games remaining (vs. Ravens, @ Falcons, vs. Colts, @ Eagles) and should finish with a top-2 pick.

31. Las Vegas Raiders (2-11)

Robert Hanashiro-Imagn Images

The Raiders have lost nine games in a row and continue to position themselves well for next year’s draft. Las Vegas fell into an early 14-0 hole behind two Baker Mayfield touchdown passes, but responded by scoring 10 points in the second quarter. Aidan O’Connell and Desmond Ridder combined to go 23-of-37 for 195 yards with one INT (O’Connell). It is hard to imagine Antonio Pierce returning for a second season as the head coach.

30. New York Jets (3-10)

Chris Pedota, NorthJersey.com / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Before the season, the Jets had dreams of contending in the AFC. After all, Aaron Rodgers was returning to action and joining a team that featured an elite defense and had two young stars on offense. Of course, things haven’t gone as planned all season. The defense has taken a big step back and Rodgers looks like a shell of himself. Instead of fighting for a playoff spot, the Jets are still alive for the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

29. Tennessee Titans (3-10)

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-Imagn Images

Tennessee may have lost its 10th game of the season Sunday afternoon, but it should be happy with its result. The Titans are one of six teams with a 3-10 record and currently hold the No. 5 spot in the upcoming draft. Tennessee’s defense did its part against Jacksonville by holding its rival scoreless through three quarters. However, Will Levis was only able to lead the offense to a pair of field goals.

28. New England Patriots (3-10)

Eric Canha-Imagn Images

Before their Bye Week, the Patriots suffered another loss that they can’t be too mad about. Rookie passer Drake Maye played well (24-of-30 passing, 238 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) and the team improved its draft stock. The biggest question heading into the final stretch of games is if the organization has faith in HC Jerod Mayo moving forward. With multiple big names potentially available this offseason, could New England move on from Mayo after Year 1?

27. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-10)

Peter van den Berg-Imagn Images

Jacksonville ended its five-game losing streak with an ugly win over the Titans. With Mac Jones at quarterback in place of an injured Trevor Lawrence, the Jags were shutout for three quarters. Jones threw two interceptions before halftime but led the team to 10 points in the fourth quarter. With 6:46 to play, Tank Bigsby produced the game-winning touchdown on an 8-yard run.

26. Carolina Panthers (3-10)

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

Carolina may have lost its third game in a row, but it has played much better football the past five weeks. Following back-to-back wins, the Panthers have dropped their last three games by a combined 12 points — losing to Kansas City and Tampa Bay, respectively, by three points, and coming up six points short in Philadelphia last weekend. Chuba Hubbard’s rushing touchdown gave Carolina a 16-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Bryce Young led his team into Philadelphia territory on the last two drives of the game, but was unable to put the ball in the end zone.

25. Cleveland Browns (3-10)

Scott Galvin-Imagn Images

Cleveland may have toppled the playoff-bound Steelers in the snow two weeks ago, but it couldn’t take down its rival a second time. Jameis Winston found Jerry Jeudy for a 35-yard touchdown in the first quarter and Cleveland took a 7-3 lead into the second. However, it was all Pittsburgh the rest of the way. The Browns were outscored 24-0 over the next two quarters as an interception and a pair of missed field goals swung the game in Pittsburgh’s favor. The defense held Pittsburgh to under 300 yards, but it is hard to win on the road while committing three turnovers.

24. Chicago Bears (4-9)

Mike Dinovo-Imagn Images

Chicago’s first game without Matt Eberflus on the sidelines ended the same way Eberflus’ last six games did — with a loss. The Bears played like a team that is ready for the season to be over. After three competitive losses in a row, Chicago put forth minimal effort en route to a 38-13 loss to the Niners. Caleb Williams found Rome Odunze for two touchdowns in the second half and has now gone seven games without an interception, but that was the only bright spot for the Bears.

23. Dallas Cowboys (5-8)

Tim Heitman-Imagn Images

Dallas’ playoff hopes officially vanished Monday Night on the heels of a devastating loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Here’s a sentence you’ve never read describing a football game – the Cowboys lost because they blocked their opponent’s punt. With the game tied at 20 and two minutes left to play, Nick Vigil of the Cowboys blocked the punt, but Dallas cornerback Amani Oruwariye tried to recover the loose ball, fumbled, and gave it back to the Bengals (who went on to score a TD). There’s not a more perfect encapsulation of this Cowboys season than that single play.

22. Cincinnati Bengals (5-8)

Joseph Maiorana-Imagn Images

Thanks to Dallas’ ineptitude, the Bengals’ tiny playoff hopes remain intact. The Joe Burrow-Ja’Marr Chase tandem continues to be the best in the league, but narrowly beating a mediocre Cowboys squad is the latest reminder that this Bengals team just isn’t a title contender. All four of Cincinnati’s remaining games are certainly winnable (Titans, Browns, Broncos, Steelers), but it’s still hard to envision 9-8 being good enough to sneak into a wild card spot.

21. New Orleans Saints (5-8)

Matthew Hinton-Imagn Images

In the NFL, it doesn’t matter if you win ugly. The Saints won their fifth game of the season in a 14-11 snooze fest against the Giants. New Orleans opened the scoring with an impressive 98-yard drive, capped off by an 8-yard Kendre Miller rushing score. In the third quarter, Derek Carr found Juwan Johnson for an 11-yard TD to go up 14-3. In the closing seconds of the game, New Orleans blocked what would have been a game-tying field goal. In negative news, Carr may have fractured his non-throwing hand and suffered a concussion. His status for this week’s game is unknown.

20. San Francisco 49ers (6-8)

Neville E. Guard-Imagn Images

In case anyone thought there was an outside chance of seeing a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl (49ers vs. Chiefs) again this season, last night’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams ended that chance. In a game featuring zero touchdowns, the 49ers lost in front of their home crowd and now sit in last in the NFC West. Decimated by injuries all season long, San Francisco can start looking ahead to 2025.

19. Atlanta Falcons (6-7)

Brett Davis-Imagn Images

Atlanta’s season is quickly unraveling. With Kirk Cousins mired in a miserable stretch of play, the Falcons have lost four in a row and now trail Tampa Bay by one game in the NFC South. Taking on his former team for the first time, Cousins threw zero touchdowns and was intercepted twice by the Vikings. During Atlanta’s skid, Cousins has thrown eight INTs and zero TDs. The Falcons will be favorites in three of their last four games (Raiders, Giants, Panthers) but their current form doesn’t inspire much faith.

18. Indianapolis Colts (6-7)

Troy Taormina-Imagn Images

The Colts didn’t make it easy, but they eventually found a way to close out the 3-10 Patriots on the road two weeks ago. Indianapolis leaned on the rushing attack, with RB Jonathan Taylor and QB Anthony Richardson combining for 144 rushing yards on 34 carries. Richardson accounted for all three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) on the day, while the defense sacked Patriots QB Drake Maye four times. After facing Denver in Week 15, the Colts end their season with three games against teams with a combined record of 8-31 (Titans, Giants, and Jaguars).

17. Arizona Cardinals (6-7)

Just a few weeks removed from having an opportunity to take control of the NFC West, the Cardinals find themselves in a precarious spot. Arizona lost to the rival Seahawks for the second time in three weeks and now trails Seattle by two games. Losers of three in a row, the Cards also fell behind the Rams and are down to No. 10 in the NFC — trailing Washington, Los Angeles, and Atlanta for the final WC spot.

16. Miami Dolphins (6-7)

Jasen Vinlove-Imagn Images

The Dolphins kept their playoff hopes alive with a crucial overtime win over the Jets. Tua Tagovailoa continued his excellent play since returning to the lineup. He finished the game with 331 yards and 2 TDs on 33-of-47 passing. In overtime, Tagovailoa completed 6-of-7 passes, including the game-winning 10-yard touchdown to TE Jonnu Smith. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle combined for 19 receptions and 214 yards. They’ll have to be nearly perfect down the stretch if they hope to catch up to the final Wild Card spot. Miami is currently two games behind the Ravens, Chargers, and Broncos, who occupy the 5th, 6th, and 7th spots in the AFC playoff race.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6)

Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images

This season is shaping up to be a repeat of last year. In ’23, the Bucs started 4-6 and won five of their last six games to capture the NFC South. The Bucs currently sit at 7-6 following a three-game winning streak and control their own destiny. It was a bit closer than they would have liked against the Raiders, but a fourth-quarter surge eventually gave the Bucs the edge. Next week will be a tough test on the road against the Chargers. If Tampa Bay can get through LA, their final three games come against teams all currently below .500.

14. Los Angeles Rams (8-6)

Gary A. Vasquez-Imagn Images

It wasn’t pretty, but Los Angeles went into San Francisco last night and pulled out a touchdown-less victory to keep its postseason hopes alive. In what proved to be the exact opposite of Week 14’s thrilling 44-42 victory over Buffalo, the Rams played excellent defense and made enough plays on offense to eke out the 12-6 victory. With games against the Jets (away), Cardinals (home) and Seahawks (home) to end the season, the Rams are in striking position to reach the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

13. Houston Texans (8-5)

Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images

Houston entered last week having lost three of four and it didn’t look great against the Jaguars. The Texans secured a 23-20 win, but the story of the game was Azeez Al-Shaair’s illegal hit on Trevor Lawrence. As Lawrence went to end a run with a slide, Al-Shaair blasted Lawrence with his forearm and knocked Lawrence out of the game. Al-Shaair was ejected and is facing a possible suspension. Meanwhile, the Texans maintained their two-game lead on Indianapolis in the AFC South.

12. Washington Commanders (8-5)

Amber Searls-Imagn Images

Washington is back in the win column with a dominant showing against Tennessee. Entering the week, the Commanders had dropped three in a row and fell out of first-place in the NFC East. The team seemingly took its frustration out on the Titans right out of the gates, as it scored 28 points on its first four possessions. Brian Robinson Jr.’s rushing score was followed by a rushing TD from Jayden Daniels. The Commanders then forced back-to-back fumbles and Daniels found Terry McLaurin for a touchdown after each takeaway.

11. Seattle Seahawks (8-5)

Steven Bisig-Imagn Images

The Seahawks have won four in a row and are now in the driver’s seat in the NFC West. They completed the season sweep of the Cardinals with two wins over Arizona in a three-week span. With Kenneth Walker out, backup RB Zach Charbonnet starred for Seattle’s run game. Charbonnet ran for 134 yards and 2 TDs, including a 51-yard scamper that broke the game open before the half. Second-year wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba has continued to play well (5 receptions, 82 yards, 1 TD) and now ranks 5th in the NFL in receiving yards (911).

10. Denver Broncos (8-5)

Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images

The Broncos were demolished for the first time this season in Week 9 against the Ravens. Sean Payton’s team lost 41-10 and had no answers on either side of the field. They’ve responded since then. They nearly toppled the defending champs on the road in a game that ended in a blocked kick. Then, Denver rattled off three wins in a row heading into the Bye. They’re averaging 36 PPG during the recent stretch, and Bo Nix has made a case for winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. A win over the Colts in Week 15 would do wonders for Denver’s chances of reaching the postseason.

9. Los Angeles Chargers (8-5)

Dale Zanine-Imagn Images

The Chargers have to feel like that’s one that got away. They battled back from a 13-point halftime deficit and took a lead in the fourth quarter. Their defense has carried them for most of the season, but Patrick Mahomes made a couple of big plays on the final drive to get them in field goal range. Matthew Wright’s game-winning kick doinked off the left upright and still somehow went in. At the very least, the Chargers look to be playoff-bound and have played the Chiefs extremely close in both of their matchups.

8. Baltimore Ravens (8-5)

Tommy Gilligan-Imagn Images

The next two weeks are huge for the Ravens. Baltimore plays the Giants next week, a team that has dropped eight in a row that the Ravens should easily handle. Meanwhile, the first-place Steelers are going to Philadelphia to take on the red-hot Eagles who are winners of nine in a row. A Baltimore win and Pittsburgh loss would close the gap for the top spot in the AFC North to just one game. The following week, the Ravens and Steelers meet up in Baltimore in a game that could ultimately determine the division winner.

7. Minnesota Vikings (11-2)

Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

Sam Darnold was brilliant as the Vikings rolled against the previously first-place Atlanta Falcons. The former No. 3 overall pick had his best game in a Minnesota uniform, and that’s saying something considering how well he’s played this year. Darnold ended the game with 347 passing yards and 5 TDs. The touchdowns were spread to his two best wideouts, Jordan Addison (8 receptions, 133 yards, 3 TDs) and Justin Jefferson (7 receptions, 132 yards, 2 TDs). Minnesota has recovered extremely well after dropping back-to-back games following their Week 6 Bye. They’ll look to make it seven in a row against the Bears next week.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3)

Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

The Steelers were able to avenge their loss from two weeks ago. The conditions were not as frigid as they were in that Week 12 matchup in Cleveland, allowing the Steelers to get more comfortable on both ends. Russell Wilson played a clean game (15-of-26 passing, 158 yards, 2 TDs), while the Steeler defense made life miserable for Jameis Winston and company. Winston was sacked three times and tossed a pair of interceptions. This was a much-needed win for the Steelers who enter a brutal four-game stretch to end the year — at PHI, at BAL, vs. KC, vs. CIN.

5. Green Bay Packers (9-4)

Morgan Tencza-Imagn Images

The Packers had a nice rally in the second half, but were unable to get enough stops to avoid being swept by the Lions. Green Bay had just seven points entering halftime and exploded for 24 in the final two quarters. Josh Jacobs scored 3 TDs while WR Christian Watson led the way with 114 receiving yards. The difference was fourth down conversions. Detroit converted on four of five attempts, including one on their final drive that essentially sealed the game. The Lions have gotten the better of the Packers twice this year, but they may need a third win over Green Bay if they want to reach the Super Bowl.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (12-1)

Denny Medley-Imagn Images

The Chiefs just keep getting away with these wins. They nearly gaffed a 13-point lead to their division rival Los Angeles Chargers. The defending champs pitched a shutout in the first half, limiting Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense. A couple of quick touchdowns by Los Angeles led to Kansas City trailing heading into the fourth quarter. On the final drive, the Chiefs marched into field goal range to attempt a game-winner. Kicker Matthew Wright hit the left upright but the kick still managed to sneak in for the win. Kansas City now has a two-game cushion for the top-seed in the AFC after Buffalo’s loss.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (11-2)

Eric Hartline-Imagn Images

Following a big win over the Ravens last week, the Eagles came out flat against an inferior opponent. The Panthers had a lead entering the fourth quarter as Philadelphia’s passing game failed to get going. Jalen Hurts connected with Grant Calcaterra for a touchdown early in the final frame that would eventually be the game-winning score. Hurts ended with just 108 passing yards and was sacked four times. The run game was again lethal as Saquon Barkley rushed for 124 yards on 20 carries.

2. Buffalo Bills (10-3)

Grace Hollars-USA TODAY Network via Imagn Images

Josh Allen did all he could, but Buffalo’s defense could not slow down the Rams in Los Angeles. Allen finished the game with 342 passing yards, 82 rushing yards, and six total TDs. The rest of Buffalo’s rushing attack was non-existent — James Cook totaled 20 rushing yards on six carries. Defensively, the Bills failed to make the Rams uncomfortable. They recorded zero sacks, didn’t force a turnover, and allowed 11-of-15 conversions on third down.

1. Detroit Lions (12-1)

Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

The Lions extended their league-best win streak to 11 with a sweep of the Green Bay Packers. After a back-and-forth battle Thursday night, Detroit had a chance to seal the game on the final possession. Dan Campbell stuck to his risk-taking strategy, going for it on a fourth down when a chip shot field goal would have taken the lead. Detroit converted, ran the clock down, and Jake Bates kicked the game-winner as time expired. The Lions converted on four fourth downs in the game, two of which went for touchdowns. Next week is a gigantic matchup against the AFC contender Buffalo Bills.
