K.J. Choi had a marvelous second round today at the AT&T National in Pennsylvania. The Korean professional shot -6 on Friday to finish -7 after the first two rounds.
Following Choi there is an array of players battling for second. Justin Leonard shot -3 today to bring his two-round total to -5, tying him with Charlie Wi and Chris Riley.
With the projected cut at +3 the number of players will decrease dramatically before tomorrow’s third round. Until then the players near the bubble will be crossing their fingers hoping they might somehow make advance.
