Tiger Woods Parts Ways With Longtime Caddie Steve Williams
Tiger Woods has experienced several long-term relationship break-ups over the past year, and this is another one to throw onto the scrap pile. Woods has announced he is parting ways with longtime caddie Steve Williams.

Williams has been Woods’ caddy for over a decade, starting with Tiger back in 1999. He worked for Tiger during 13 of his 14 major championship victories.
Woods released a statement thanking Williams for his service, but failed to name a replacement.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it’s time for a change,” Woods said. “Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future.”
Williams recently worked for Australian Adam Scott at the 2011 U.S. Open. Woods was sidelined with a leg injury, so Williams worked with Scott for that particular tournament. When asked if the pairing would become permanent Scott said it wouldn’t. That may no longer be the case.
