Tiger Woods Shoots Minus-1; Projected to Make Cut at Frys.com Open

After shooting an underwhelming 73 in round one, mainly due to poor putting, Tiger Woods rebounded on Friday to put himself in position to play this weekend. After missing the cut in the PGA Championship earlier this summer, Woods was in danger of doing so again this weekend.
Woods rebounded with a 3-under par on Friday to put him at minus-1 for the tournament. However, Tiger has a lot of ground to make up if he wants to actually win a tournament for the first time in two years. Tiger is tied for 42nd, and is seven strokes back of current leader Paul Casey.
Several players are still on the course finishing up their second round. The projected cut line is currently sitting at +1.
