Sergio Garcia Leads At The Barclays After Three Rounds

Sergio Garcia leads The Barclays after the third round and puts himself in contention for the title.  It appears our continued articles and features on Sergio continue to give him some good vibes.  Maybe someone should give Garcia the heads up on why he really is playing well.

All joking aside, Garcia is playing extremely well and leads at Bethpage by two strokes over Nick Watney.  It is important for Garcia to finish well, if not win, because he already announced he won’t be playing in next week’s Deutsche Bank Championship.

Watney hit five bogeys, which ruined the good start he had.  Watney had three birdies after the first five holes and then struggle on the back nine.

Tiger Woods had a day of ups and downs.  The highlight of the day was when Woods hit a 53 foot putt.  But part of Woods struggles was reading the speed of the greens.  Like many other players, Woods ended up with a few three putts.

Here is a quick clip of one of Garcia’s tougher shots on the day.
