Originally known as the Tampa Bay Classic, it will now be called the Valspar Championship after several different changes in title sponsor since it’s inception in 2000. Valspar has signed a four year deal with the PGA. It is annually held at the Copperhead Golf Course at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor. The current purse is set at $5.7 million with the champion taking home $990,000. They also walk away with 500 Fed Ex Cup points.
